Nook's remodel is done and Nook 'n' Go is here! It's cute and colorful so I like it, but anything is better than Nook's Cranny. The hours are convenient too. I can fish, sell fossils, bugs, run around, shop, etc into the night. I use Dolphin so I'll be stuck at Nookway after this, since I have no one to visit my town. At first I was bummed but now I think it's cool, normally it would have been a forced upgrade. I wish I could keep Nook 'n' Go's 7AM-11PM hours though.
The wares for today were good. There's not as many clothing items in GC as compared to other titles (247 total) so you have an easier time obtaining desired items, but it's crazy I landed the Fortune Shirt. There was also an axe and a piece from the Lovely set. I purchased the former for Romeo and the latter for India.
Nook 'n' Go sells three flower seeds a day now (coooool) so I bought those too. I placed them randomly but I should develop a plan for flowers. I sorted where each fruit orchard would go but didn't detail how orchards would be set up (alignment, rows, space per tree, etc). Flowers should be harmonious with whatever I come up with. Right?
I ordered the 60000B and paid off my loan, I couldn't decide on a color so I went with the first option (red). Something I really wanna go for is fêng shui to increase my luck. I tried a bit with Bijou in Gorgeous but it's not serious. She has a fishing trophy in her main room, I think it's lucky year-round, or maybe just for Jan-Feb. I placed it and never checked back haha.
I want to go for bugs more than furniture if I can. In New Leaf, certain insects and bugs in the home were lucky per month - I also want to try quasi-furniture items that increase HHA ratings (trophies, Gulliver items, region-locked, etc). I think it's more fun that way. I'll try with Romeo and see how I feel about it.
I checked with Booker today and got the moldy shirt. My fault, it's just fun to wear lol. Bijou (Gorgeous) likes it too. I grabbed the remaining items and sold it all to Nook for bells.
Like Romeo, I ordered bells on these two and paid their loans as well. Bijou's roof is blue and India's is purple. I ran a few more errands (mailed far away museum, planted fruit trees, etc) then got tired so I didn't get to Otto. I'm also curious how not upgrading works. You never get asked again? Both India so Otto get less playtime and don't need an ungrade right now.
I'll hold off on Otto and see how it turns out.
